Whether subtly embossed, glossy, or colorfully printed – we offer a variety of techniques to make your menus unique.

Each type of finishing has its own style and effect – tailored to your brand and your requirements.

Motif print

With our high-quality motif printing, we offer you the opportunity to individually design your menus, menu boards, room folders, or invoice folders – all in brilliant, razor-sharp quality.

Choose from our extensive catalog of atmospheric images, illustrations, and graphics—perfectly tailored to the hospitality and hotel industries and your brand. All designs are printed over the entire surface of the desired product, making every card a real eye-catcher. Simply let us know the name of the print when ordering.

Woody

Our high-quality veneers are available in various woods, colors and textures.

We source our wood from Austria, using high-quality wood species such as oak, mixed wood (e.g., heartwood ash), walnut, and Swiss stone pine.

Each wood species has its own character: While oak is robust and timeless, Swiss stone pine, with its vibrant grain and pleasant fragrance, lends a particularly natural touch—but due to its softness, it's also more delicate. Swiss stone pine also darkens significantly over time.

Our wooden menus are made from carefully selected, veneered MDF boards.

All woods are finished in several steps: First, the surface is stained (for colored versions), then varnished, then brushed, and finally sealed with a final varnish. This creates a durable, wipeable surface. A damp cloth is sufficient for maintenance; aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided.

We use different wood thicknesses depending on the product: For menu boards with rounded corners, we use 4 mm thick wood. For classic card and Quickfixmodels, we use 2.5 mm thick boards – versions with rounded corners are also possible.

Special surface finishes ensure a unique look: "Sawed" stands for a distinctively textured feel. Flamed versions (e.g., reclaimed wood or flamed oak) offer a rustikaappeal. The vintage look is achieved through staining and silicate paint. Colored versions in brown, chocolate, black, white, or burgundy are created by staining the wood.

The grain on our menus is generally vertical (except for landscape formats).

Natural wood may darken or fade due to sunlight – this is a natural process.

Medici

Bookbinding linen with a fine linen look and available in numerous colors and finishes such as glossy or matte.

Our "Medici" is a high-quality bookbinding linen that we have specially selected for use in menus. It impresses with its fine linen texture, high durability, and elegant appearance. Despite its slim material thickness, Medici is flexible, tear-resistant, and dimensionally stable – an ideal combination for daily use in the restaurant industry.

A special advantage: Medici is water-repellent and has a so-called lotus effect. Dirt simply beads off, making the surface easy to clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents.

We offer Medici cards in various finishes – from matte to satin to glossy. The expressive "Art" colors with a strong shimmer, as well as the "Magic" versions with fine, firmly embedded glitter particles, provide special accents. The latter leave no residue on your hands and give the card a subtle, elegant effect.

Medici also offers maximum design freedom: From color direct printing and subtle blind embossing to eye-catching metallic embossing in gold, silver, copper, blue, red, or other colors – virtually any form of logo finishing is possible. Even full-surface, double-sided printing of the entire cover is possible.

Real leather

Whether thick or thin, as a cover or accent on the menu – our genuine leather for your menus.

Our genuine leather comes from Austrian cattle and is available in two varieties: The first is a thick, robust, and particularly durable leather, which we use for the covers of our menu models, such as Pellino and Rustika . It is punched from the rind and has a smooth front and a natural, rough reverse. This leather is available in various colors.

The second option is the thinner and more flexible genuine leather Venezia . It features varying texture thicknesses on the front, while the back also remains natural and rough. The leather embossing varies in thickness depending on the color. Venezia is primarily used for accents, such as as an elegant cover for menu boards.

Design leather

Synthetic leather available in Fine, Middle and Wave versions.

Designer leather is a high-quality synthetic leather from Poland that impresses with its elegant appearance, pleasant feel, and high durability. Compared to soft leather, it is noticeably thicker and therefore more robust—however, it is not suitable for all menu models.

Thanks to its combination of design diversity, durability and high-quality workmanship, designer leather is ideal for sophisticated menus in the catering industry.

Designer leather is available in three different structural variants:

  • Fine : With a fine, subtle surface structure that is slightly reminiscent of real leather – ideal for a simple, elegant look.

  • Middle : Also based on genuine leather, but with a stronger, more distinctive texture.

  • Wave : A special variant with a fine structure and additional light-dark shading. The irregular, elongated spots create a wave-like effect that lends the material warmth and individuality.

Designer leather is easy to care for and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. To protect the surface, avoid harsh cleaning agents.

Soft leather

High-quality synthetic leather available in numerous colors and looks.

Soft leather is a high-quality Italian synthetic leather with a pleasantly soft feel and a slightly textured surface. The material impresses with its authentic leather look, which is enhanced by various effects and surface finishes – ideal for stylish and durable menus.

Despite its thinness, soft leather is extremely durable, tear-resistant, and ideally suited for intensive use in the hospitality industry. It's easy to clean, colorfast, and dyed throughout—meaning: not just the surface, but the entire material is uniformly dyed in the respective color.

Soft leather is ideal for virtually any type of logo finishing. Whether classic embossing, elegant blind debossing, or custom design elements – this material showcases logos and design elements particularly well.

Soft leather combines elegant appearance, high functionality and excellent processing properties – a reliable companion for sophisticated menus.

Degustaleather

Robust yet lightweight synthetic leather with a smooth surface.

Our Degustaleather, also known as foam leather, is characterized by a smooth surface with varying looks—for example, a stone-like texture. The material is thick and robust, yet pleasantly lightweight. It is a high-quality synthetic leather that we use exclusively for our Degusta model. The entire cover of this menu is made of Degustaleather; the colors for the interior and exterior can be individually combined.

Loden

Genuine wool fabric with texture, available in various natural colors.

The tightly woven wool fabric, made in Germany, impresses with its characteristic texture and natural look. The slightly rough surface conveys a feeling of warmth and security—perfect for a rustika, authentic ambiance with a special tactile appeal.

The fabric is available in various natural colors such as beige, brown or green.

For a personalized touch, the loden fabric can be enhanced with embroidery or a sewn-on badge. The badge consists of a piece of bookbinding linen printed or embossed with your logo and then sewn onto the material.

Lino

Linen-look material with various pattern options or solid color.

Lino is a smooth, slightly rough oilcloth with a linen look.

It is made from a robust cotton-polyester blend and is not only durable and resilient, but also particularly easy to care for – simply wipe clean and ideal for daily use in the hospitality industry.

Lino is the only material in our range available in a variety of creative pattern designs. You can choose between the subtle Baroque pattern or more striking versions like Retro or Line. The Argentum and Aurum – incorporated glitter particles give the material a sophisticated shimmer.

In addition, five color variants are available, which can be harmoniously integrated into a wide variety of interior design concepts.

The material can be finished with permanent printing or printed over the entire surface – entirely according to your wishes.

Cardboard

Individually printed, whether in one color or as a creative design.

We use a smooth 450g cardboard finished with a matte, scratch-resistant cellophane wrapper. The cardboard can be custom printed and is ideal for further processing into menus.

It can be easily punched and scored, making it particularly easy to process. For added stability, the printed cardstock can be laminated with a 2 mm thick cardboard sheet if required, creating a robust card comparable in strength to our other menu materials.

Cardboard cards can be printed on the outside and inside – ideal for creating a consistent and coherent design.

For a special eye-catcher, a metallic embossing can be added as an additional finishing touch.

In contrast to the matte version, the standard cardboard has a linen-look cellophane coating.

The standard cardboard colors are available in a fixed selection and cannot be customized. However, finishing with metallic embossing—for example, for your logo—is possible.

Here you will find an overview of color harmonies of our two materials: cardboard and Medici.

Branding

Precise laser engraving on wood or genuine leather.

Our laser enables virtually any design idea – from detailed engravings to finely nuanced wood-burned motifs to large-scale designs. Branding is a particularly effective form of logo refinement, as even the finest details can be precisely realized.

Depending on the selected hardness level, the logo can be burned to varying degrees of darkness. Please note that the result always depends slightly on the natural color and texture of the wood. Natural materials such as wood and genuine leather always bring a certain charming individuality.

Cut-out

Your logo precisely cut from the wood.

A cutout is most effective when larger areas are cut out of the material. Smaller or more delicate shapes are also possible, but the design loses its impact if individual lines are thinner than the material's 2.5 mm thickness.

It is also important that so-called “bridges” are included in certain logos so that internal elements – for example, letters like A, B, D, e or O – do not fall out.

We'd be happy to assess whether and how your logo can be implemented most effectively. Our graphics team will help you develop a customized solution. Simply send us your logo, and together we'll determine whether it's ideally suited for a cutout.

In addition to the classic cut-out, we offer two special designs:

  • Cut-out with Medici bookbinding linen backing – Here, the back of the wooden board is covered with Medici bookbinding linen, which shines through the cut-out. This not only creates a visual accent but also has the practical advantage of concealing menu sheets inside.

  • 3D Cut-Out – Instead of cutting the design into the wood, your logo is created as a separate wooden cutout and applied to the cover, creating a striking, three-dimensional effect.

Yes, the shape of your menu can also be customized – it doesn't necessarily have to be rectangular. Basically, any shape is possible, as long as there's enough space for the binding to hold the menu sheets.

Your menu can also be designed so that the logo extends beyond the edge of the card. The card shape is custom-cut to ensure the motif stands out from the card's silhouette as a special eye-catcher.

Metallic embossing

Shimmering logo finishing in gold, silver, copper and more.

With metallic embossing, your logo is permanently transferred to the material using heat and pressure. First, a mirror-image magnesium stamp of your logo is created. This is placed between a wafer-thin metallic foil and the menu material. Our embossing machine then heats the area and precisely presses the stamp onto the material.

We offer our metallic embossing in a carefully selected range of colors: gold, silver, brown, copper, rose, red, pink, green, lime green, aqua, blue, and rainbow. Additionally, we offer three matte versions in gold, silver, and black.

Blindness

Your logo immortalized in the material.

Blind embossing is an elegant finishing technique in which your logo is permanently pressed into the material – without the use of ink or foil. The embossing results vary depending on the material: On Degustaleather, for example, it's particularly deep and three-dimensional, while even thinner materials like Medici or soft leather easily accommodate blind embossing. For an optimal result, however, the material is less important than the logo itself.

Large, flat motifs with well-crafted negative space are most impressive. Even delicate logos can be implemented well if they contain enough open space to accommodate the motif—this allows the embossing to come into its own.

Stick

Enhance your loden menu with embroidery for an unforgettable impression.

Our high-quality embroidery allows for both delicate logos and large, multicolored motifs. Please note, however, that the ability to create fine details is limited by the thread thickness.

To be on the safe side, a proof is always created before the final implementation. This allows you to get a clear idea of how your embroidery will look.

Bathroom

Your logo elegantly placed on a badge.

Since loden can't be printed directly, we offer a creative alternative: the badge. This is a piece of Medici bookbinding linen that is printed or embossed with your logo and then sewn onto the loden menu. The badge can be rectangular, square, or round – and is available in various sizes.

A badge can be enhanced with either a colored permanent print or a sophisticated metallic embossing—depending on your preferences. Permanent print is available in a variety of colors, while metallic embossing shimmers in select tones such as gold, silver, or copper. You're free to choose which option best suits your design.

Individual pressure

Your cardboard menus individually printed and matt cellophane wrapped.

Custom printing is done exclusively on our matte, cellophaned, scratch-resistant cardboard. We print in-house using precise, vibrant color technology for a stunning result. You can send us your own image or work with our graphics team to develop a custom design. The inside pages of the menu can also be customized.

UV print

The printing process for impressive results.

UV printing is available on Medici bookbinding linen and wood. Your desired motifs can be fully realized in high quality – for particularly brilliant colors, we recommend using white Medici material.

Depending on the card model, printing is available on the front and back, as well as the inside. Our graphics team will be happy to assist you in implementing your design.

Permad

Your logo as a brilliant color print.

Our permanent print is a high-quality 4C UV print with brilliant color quality—ideal for materials like Medici, wood, or soft leather. To ensure colors pop even on darker surfaces, a thin white layer is first applied. The result is durable, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Since permanent printing only adheres permanently to dimensionally stable materials, we don't offer it on flexible surfaces like leather covers, where the print could peel off over time. However, on stable materials, it impresses with its durability and color brilliance.
