FAQ

1.      What is an “insert”?

2 inserts are provided for each slide-in card
(an insert at the back and front is possible, as in the case of a transparent foil).
Example: 6 inserts (= for 6 sheets of paper) are equivalent to 3 slide-in cards

Exception: The Furore Model can only be provided with 4 sides per double slide-in card
Calculate the inserts exactly as the number of sides per menu required.

However, there are menus where the front and back inserts are included, e.g. Kristall menus, Helga, etc.

2.   How long are the deliveries?
In the case of menus without embossing or with standard embossing production takes approx. 2-3 weeks after written release.
In the case of menus with your own logo embossing, production takes approx. 3 weeks after written logo release.
For restaurant or hotel opening dates we will of course always give priority to this production. We request that such dates be agreed in advance.

3.   What is standard embossing?
Existing embossing stamp for standard lettering (e.g. menu, ice cream list, meals and beverages, etc.). Standard block embossing with the same menu size from an order quantity of 15 pcs. on the front is FREE OF CHARGE. If less than 15 menus are ordered we charge an embossing lump sum of € 25.- net.

4.   In what file format should an existing logo be transmitted to the graphics department?
Ideally the logo for embossing should be supplied in black/white (Lineart) or as a TIFF file for PC (IBM byte arrangement) or in current Photoshop or Corel Draw formats. The image size in pixel formats should never be smaller than the original print.

see Help for data transfer and supplying logos

5.   Are there menus/beverage/wine lists in stock?
We endeavour to keep the McCard menu model in stock, please inquire.

We also have different models in cardboard or PP foil in stock from over-production. The exact position will change in the course of time, so please make inquiries, either by telephone or by e-mailing at officegastrotopcardcom.

Each order will generally be newly produced.

6. What is the difference between the “Europa“ and “Juwelmodels?
In the “Europa” model series a screw post is used which enables the slide-in cards to be added or removed (limited). This is not possible with the “Juwel” model because this model is produced with a permanently pressed post.

7.   Tip for free of charge cards
Some of your suppliers (beer, wine, coffee, etc.)( would like to see their logo on your new menus – You will certainly be rewarded for meeting their requirements.
